Joe Haddad
Candidate for Vice Chair, French
Joe is a young liberal based in Montreal, Quebec, with a diverse background in politics, government, and the private sector.
He began his political involvement in 2022 as a volunteer, later becoming an intern in a Member of Parliament’s office. In 2024, he took on the role of Regional Advisor for Quebec to the Federal Minister of Families, Children, and Social Development, where he played an active part in intergovernmental negotiations, particularly in the implementation of the National School Food Program.
Currently studying law at McGill University, Joe is taking advantage of this bilingual and bijuridical program to deepen his understanding of institutions. His interest in constitutional law and cooperative federalism has motivated him to run for the position of National Vice-Chair, French.
Through this candidacy, Joe aims to represent young Francophones across the country and advocate for the cause of federalism, which he sees as a system based on ongoing negotiation and collaboration among the country's diverse communities.
